Jessa's Summer Fun!

Yes, I'm FINALLY updating this!!

I've been really bad at keeping this updated and have some catching up to do! Jessa's doing great and continues to be a lot of fun. We're starting to see some of those "terrible two" moments, but thankfully they don't last long...yet. She's talking non-stop and learning new words and phrases every day. She's up to 28 pounds and the doctor says she's ahead on verbal skills. Bottom line: our girl is happy and healthy!

Jessa Can Sing the ABC's...Mostly...

Jessa has started singing her ABC's. She gets most of the letters or is at least close enough you can tell what she's saying. In the video she kinda forgets the last part, backtracks, then finishes the song. Sorry about the impromptu coughing episode, but you'll see it's a rather funny addition!

Jessa is Getting So Big!

We are amazed each day with Jessa and the things she's learning, doing, and saying. She's recognizing letters and numbers, using three and four word sentences, and singing. Yes, singing! It's so cute, but I haven't been able to get it on video yet. Pictures are a little harder to get now too because she's curious about the camera, but we still got some great ones!

Anyone who's seen my baby pictures or heard stories knows I used to lay, and sleep, on my toy box. Here's Jessa doing the same thing on the same toy box in her room.

We turned our computer room into a playroom for Jessa (complete with a TV and fun wall stickers). I know: we've REALLY spoiled her now, but it's nice to have the toys out of our living room! It's a shame this poor kid doesn't have any toys though...

Christmas 2009

Jessa had a great Christmas in 2009! She quickly learned how to say "Santa" and "Ho Ho Ho"! Santa brought her a kitchen set, house slippers, and a few other fun items. She also got to see and play in the snow...A LOT of it too! She wasn't quite as into tearing open the packages like I thought she would be, but she still had a lot of fun and we had a lot of fun watching her excitement.

End of Summer Pictures

Jessa was a lot of fun this summer. She loves swimming, playing outside on her play gym, going for walks, and of course, swinging! She enjoyed going to the zoos too. We went to the Omaha Zoo last month. It was our first time too and it was great! Nicest zoo we've been to and we'll definitely go back. Here are some pictures of the last part of Summer.
